05/06/2004: "Its the simple things..."
Some people may think that my blog has become overly nostalgic of late, or overly cerebral, depending on which of the recent entries you happened to read last. Well, variety is the spice of life, and it is often the simple things that bring the most pleasure. So, a coupla happy moments from my last few days:
- Finishing my first keg of homebrew.
- Carpeting the floor of the garage with Dams and Gabs' old carpet
- Installing a motorbike carrier on the back of Betty, and then planning a dozen
enhancements to make it work better (or at all)
- Setting up new blogs for two friends.
OK, I know I'm both easily amused and easily pleased, but isn't that better than needing to win the lottery before you're happy???

Or learning photosdhop! It'sthe little things that put it all in perspective. thak you for taking it down a notch and celebrating mini victories. As a witness to the keg..and actually the pourer/sprayer of the last bits, I can say it was a pretty awesome moment. I think I might have even seen a tear of joy (or maybe that was just beer splat. As for the lottery, I didn't play this week for once, waiting for one more parking spot number to complete my next pick, but no one won jackpot so I can be really happy next week about the big things when I win...for now...yeah you!
